Another awesome cafe in Taipei. Brick, wood, movie and music posters everywhere. Our kind of joint. Cold brew comes in a glass flask shaped bottle. Again, our kind of joint.

Surprising to say the least, but we finally found a cold brew oasis in the thick of South Beach chaos. These guys have Verve on tap, perfect for a power up as you struggle through shopping in 90 degree heat.

Recently AddedWe love Asian-inspired cold brews, and the Kyoto Cold Brew at Deploy checks off every box. Will be returning to try the regular working-man cold brew, which we can safely assume will also be quite good.

Great brunch spot with cold brew done the Australian way: big, bold and delicious.

No regrets in getting upsold to the 'funky cold brew' with 'paradox beans' -- bright but bold flavor, reminds one of Cherry Garcia ice cream and/or a Jerry Garcia live solo.

Voyager is a nice, bright shop in Downtown San Jose, serving their Cascade cold brew blend. Solid all-around, perfect for the drive home after stuffing ourselves in the San Pedro Market.

Trendy, simple cafe for meals or to pop in for some excellent light roast cold brew.

Lovely espresso bar tucked away right off Shattuck. Good music, good vibes and a solid all-around medium roast CB. It will not blow you away, but it's a nice little security blanket in the bedlam that is downtown Berkeley.

Surprisingly good, crafty shop close to the beach. Naples is not an area you'd expect to find god cold brew -- and for the most part, you won't -- but Kunjani is easily the best option near the coast. They sell quite a few beans, serve a variety of pastries and have a whimsical gallery vibe. An oasis, of sorts.

Recently AddedSilver Fox is a big open spot in Belmont with tons of seating. The clientele mostly looks too young to even drink coffee, alas I am old. More importantly the cold brew is quite good. Seems like it's technically a toddy, but profiles like a medium roast tangy CB. Certified.

Confidently serving Seattle's highly coffee-conscious populace.

Tiny little Marais district pop up that means business. CB so clean it tastes minty. Can power even the most fatigued travelers through one of Paris' best neighborhoods.

Awesome coffee shop to post up and work from. Not to mention, they brew their own cold brew and pack it in very bottles for you to take home.

Hidden gem in Tarpon River, perfect before or after hitting the famed brewery.

A Miami institution advancing craft coffee in the 305. They have a dedicated a cold brew roast, but sometimes mix it up -- so feel free to go all the time.

Although they force you to use one of China's worst innovations (requiring all orders to be mobile based), the cold brew is certifiable and extraordinarily cheap. The menu is somewhat confusing but they do indeed serve a real, more-than-quaffable CB.

New shop in Midtown -- very much needed as a cold brew locus in the walkable, yet CB-starved neighborhood.

La La Land is a madhouse of excitement and kindness. Not the prototypical coffee shop where you plop down and work on your laptop, it's more like the top tier boba shops in Asia, a drink-ordering and photo-taking experience where everyone's happy and buzzing despite having waited quite a long time for their drink (pro tip: order ahead on mobile). They specialize in tea- and coffee-adjacent drinks with unique flavors and "clouds" (the strawberry matcha was delicious). We approve of the cold brew, too -- light, goes well with a splash of coconut or oat milk, served with a big smile.

Statistically, it's rare to find quality cold brew a block away from a baseball stadium. But the hipster forces of Denver are strong and make possible this cool, unstructured CB gem.

Fun fact: many Brazilians and Portuguese live in tiny Luxembourg. This bodes well for coffee culture, as evidenced by the delightful peachy light roast Zeca serves from his stand in the country's municipal park.

Recently AddedGreat spot on Canal in the thick of Chinatown. Blue Dove's got a modern-but-not-sterile aesthetic, good tunes and a might fine cold brew. I envision a future involving more time here.

What an exquisite shop. Everything about this is high end -- from the decor, the precision of the staff, the projected menue on the wall...and yes, an excellent light cold brew with notes of peach iced tea and caramel.

Hidden gem in the suburbs. Lovely coffeeshop name, even better CBwOM (cold brew with oat milk). The 'burbs are back, baby.

Red Bay has a few locations in Berkeley, Oakland and SF. They care about coffee, and it's one of those places where you can easily tell the staff and regular clientele do too.

A small, subtle shop tucked away in RiNo, with a beautiful nitro cold brew option.

Highly professional, thoughtful shop in Moinhos de Vento. The CB is very much Brazilian style (dark and strong). Bonus points for a delicious homemade pao de queijo (cheesy and strong).
View Details
Not a traditional coffee shop, but a very cool store (vintage cars + guitars) with a very good coffee shop inside. Their Pure Black is perfect for a pit stop while strolling through Wynwood -- bold, almost cigar-like flavor with a sweet finish.

Frothy Monkey is our official "third place" in Nashville. It's rare to find a place where you can sit and work on your laptop, eat a delicious brunch with friends, read peacefully while sipping a local IPA, or (as I have) do all three things in the same day. And of course, they serve a refreshing, light bodied cold brew on tap, a universal requirement for any establishment that seeks to be a third place.

Recently AddedManjul is a tasteful shop in SoHo with a punchy, caramely cold brew. Serene on the inside, powerful on the inside.

A surprise addition up and around Hell's Kitchen -- notably down to earth franchised shops with a solid CB.

Incredibly cute shop with various options. Serve a fruity light roast from Colombia that tastes like a Negroni.

Unique listening room + specialty coffee haven with a delicious cherry-caramel CB. A little hard to find, harder to leave. Go when you're feeling extra cool, and don't you dare bring your laptop on the weekend.

I mean, how could one not get excited seeing 'enter the cold brew mothership' written on the window? Bonus points for having several fancy CB-based drinks, in case you want to bring a friend. Multiple locations, including one right by the museums.

Industrial vibe with plenty of seating and easy access to the rest of Wynwood. The cold brew is very balanced, with a pop of orange-y dark chocolate-y and smooth finish. They seem to advertise more as a place to eat, but don't be fooled -- they serve high quality coffee and care about the details in Spoelstra-esque fashion. In a city increasingly taken over by "vibey" places that don't know the first thing about coffee, it is refreshing to see a relatively new entrant take cold brew seriously.

Neighborhood gem that transports you straight to the Pacific Northwest (minus the cold and rain, of course).

The hits keep coming in Wynwood. An area starved of decent cold brew a few years ago is rounding into a legit CB cluster. At the time of this writing, Sable is not fully built out but seems very promising as a retro diner + vinyl room + outdoor lounge space. The cold brew was light and fruity, with hints of cherry and peach. Sensing some third place potential.

When they tell you to stay in your lane, don't listen. This is officially the first ever (beer) brewery on our list. I asked them why they decided to make cold brew coffee, and the guy there shrugged and said something to the effect of "Idk, we love coffee and kinda just felt like it." American entrepreneurship at its finest.

Recently AddedDark Matter is a very cool name, and they serve very good cold brew. Arguably the funkiest we've had in Chicago, and I regret that I could not try all of the various flavored options on tap. Will undoubtedly return.

Just...wow. KAIZEN is in a shopping strip off a major avenue, and has a long line most of the time. So it may dissuade you...but don't let it. They are expert cold brewers. The standard CB on the menu is a shockingly cheap $5, and massively overperforms. We also tried the slow-drip cold brew option (The Future: Summer Slush by Black & White), which is our favorite cold brew of 2026. Possibly the best in the entire lower 48.

Unsurprisingly, a delicate, beautiful, floral cold brew, perfect for a refreshing drink on a warm day or, you know, if you've just had some bomb breakfast over at Kisser.

Middle Grounds is just one of those spots where you feel much cooler than you are. The owner is super friendly and unpretentious. They brew a local cold brew, and it hits perfectly, especially after breakfast at Egg Drip.

Dare we say, the best cold brew in Nashville? Well, we said it. Lovely non-profit shop in a quiet part of town, right by Lipscomb University. They have beans from (at least) three continents, and the cold brew had that perfect balance of fruit and dark chocolate.

What a welcome (and much needed!) addition to the Miami coffeeshop and cold brew scene. Super creative coffee and matcha drinks, insanely good desserts and just an overall sweet vibe to hang out, work and listen to local DJ sets. They're better known for their specialty drinks but we always come for the cold brew. Instantly one of the best in Miami.

Asian-inspired (Taiwan?), this cafe in the city center serves a bubbly cold brew in a glass flask. Non traditional but quite refreshing.

Recently AddedA pleasant little surprise to come across the Green Room in SoHo. I'm not sure what it means or its relationship to Blank, it may be matcha, but we come for cold brew, and we left quite satisfied. Floral with smooth caramel and a hint of honeysuckle. Approved.
